Start Here

If you’re new to Life Rewritten, this page will help you understand how this site is organised — and where you might want to begin.

This isn’t a place for quick fixes or dramatic transformations.
It’s about living through the long, quiet part after life has been turned upside down — the part no one prepares you for.

How the Writing Is Organised

Everything here sits around three core themes:

Healing
The emotional and physical aftershocks — fear, identity shifts, memories you avoid, and what recovery really feels like once the world assumes you’re “better”.

Rebuilding
Learning how to live again: routines, expectations, energy, confidence, and the slow work of understanding who you are now.

Technology That Helps
Tools — including apps and AI — that help organise life, reduce cognitive load, and create space when your mind is already carrying enough.

These themes weave through everything I write.

A Good Place to Begin

Some readers arrive knowing exactly what they’re looking for. Others don’t. Both are fine.

As more is published, I’ll add direct links here. For now, these are the ideas that sit at the heart of the site:

  • The moment everything changed
  • What healing actually feels like (not the inspirational version)
  • Rebuilding a life slowly, through routines and small wins
  • Using technology to lighten the load
  • Living with uncertainty without being swallowed by it

My Journey

If you’d like the personal context behind this site, I’ve written my own story in the order it happened — from the first sign, to diagnosis, to what followed.

Staying in Touch

I write occasionally — not to a schedule, and not for volume.

If you’d like to hear when new pieces are published, you can subscribe. Emails are infrequent and always optional.

Thank you for being here.
However long you stay, you’re welcome.
